Returns Policy

General Returns Policy

 

Please call the Jeppesen Returns Department at 1-800-964-6081 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for all returns. Refunds will not be made on unauthorized returns.

 

Products not purchased directly from Jeppesen must be returned to the place of purchase and are subject to the return policies at the place of purchase.

 

All refunds are credited to the original payment method and original Charge Card.

 

*Note regarding Separate Deliveries

 

Items purchased through Jeppesen and delivered separately from our Distributor in Dallas, Texas, must be shipped back to this location. Items that are not manufactured by Jeppesen but purchased through Jeppesen also need to be returned to this location. Information will be included in the packaging, please call the Jeppesen Returns Department for specific instructions at 1-800-964-6081.

 

Product Supplied in Error

 

Product supplied in error may be returned subject to being in a resalable* condition. Please contact Jeppesen Returns within ten (10) days of receipt of the product.

 

Returns for Aircraft Accessories, Pilot Supplies and Emergency Equipment

 

Aircraft parts, accessories, pilot supplies, and emergency equipment are eligible for returns if they are in a resalable* condition, returned in their original, unopened packaging, and includes all components.

 

  • Returns accepted within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase for full credit with no re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
  • Returns accepted thirty-one to sixty (31-60) days from the date of purchase with a 20% re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
Returns for Software and Electronic Products
(Including JeppView, JeppView MFD, NavSuite and NavSuite MFD)

 

Jeppesen will not accept any returns on Jeppesen navigation software, or any data being delivered electronically. Termination / Cancellation: Jeppesen reserves the right to termination your subscription at any time if you fail to comply in full with any term of this agreement, or any other terms, agreements, or policies that apply to your electronic subscription, Jeppesen and the use of it.

 

Annual payment: After a full ninety (90) days of continuous subscription, you may choose to terminate / cancel your subscription. If a payment has been received for your subscription, Jeppesen will credit a pro-rated amount toward your Jeppesen account.

 

Monthly Payment (EFT): After a full ninety (90) days of continuous subscription, you may choose to terminate / cancel your subscription at any time. There is no need to return the software package back to Jeppesen. Your subscription will remain activated until the end of that month. Jeppesen will send you a confirmation of termination and you will not be charged for any future service period. Please refer to the recurring electronic payment service Terms and Conditions prior to making any changes.

 

Returns for Text based training and pilot supplies

  • Returns accepted thirty (30) days from the date of purchase for full credit with no re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
  • Returns accepted thirty-one to sixty (31-60) days from the date of purchase with a 20% re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
  • No returns will be accepted after sixty (60) days from the date of purchase.
  • Defective training texts and pilot supplies purchased directly from Jeppesen may be sent back for replacement or full credit. They must be reported and returned within thirty (30) days from the purchase date.
Out of Print Books

 

Books which have been listed by Jeppesen as out of print, discontinued, or revised are not eligible for return outside of the published returns policy.

 

Bundles and Kits

 

Training "bundles" or "kits" are eligible for return if they are in a resalable* condition, returned in their original, unopened packaging, and includes all components.

  • Returns accepted within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase for full credit with no re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
  • Returns accepted thirty-one to sixty (31-60) days from the date of purchase with a 20% re-stocking fee. Merchandise must be in resalable* condition.
  • Incomplete bundles or kits are not eligible for return. Software, Video, Audio, DVD products
  • Packaged software is eligible for return if unopened and in resalable* condition thirty (30) days from the purchase date. In the event that your software is delivered with damaged or defective media, Jeppesen will authorize replacement media of the same title. No returns accepted for opened software.
  • Video and Audio items are eligible for return if unopened and in resalable* condition thirty (30) days from the purchase date. In the event that your video or audio item is defective, Jeppesen will authorize a replacement item of the same title. No returns accepted for opened video or audio items.
  • DVDs are eligible for return if unopened and in resalable* condition thirty (30) days from the purchase date. In the event that your DVD is delivered with damaged or defective media, Jeppesen will authorize replacement media of the same title. No returns accepted for opened DVDs. Returns for Downloaded/web delivered products
  • Web delivered products are not eligible for returns however please see the CFI Renewal Policy below for returns on CFI Renewal.
  • Navigation data services are eligible for prorated credit based on unused services.
  • Skybound USB hardware purchased directly from Jeppesen are accepted thirty (30) days from the date of purchase for full credit with no re-stocking fee.
  • Defective navigation data cards purchased directly from Jeppesen are eligible for exchange within one (1) year of the date of purchase. Electronic/Paper Services
  • JeppView Electronic Services: Due to the time sensitive nature, there are no refunds on Electronic Revision Services or paper charts. No credit or exchange will be issued after thirty (30) days for defective electronic product.
  • Please reference the Software and Electronic Returns Policy above for information regarding NavSuite and Jeppview.
  • Paper Airway Services; including Initials, Trip Kits, and Airway Manual Express are non-refundable due to the time sensitive nature of the data.
Returns for NavData

 

Navigation Data Services are eligible for prorated credit based on unused services.

 

Skybound USB hardware purchased directly from Jeppesen are accepted within thirty (30) days from the date of purchased for a full credit with no restocking fee.

 

Defective navigation data cards purchased directly from Jeppesen are eligible for exchange within one (1) year of the date of purchase.

 

Returns for CFI Renewal Online Courseware

 

CFI Renewal Online Courseware is eligible for return according to the restrictions below:

 

Refund Amount

 

100% refund amount = zero module tests completed
90% refund amount = one module test completed
80% refund amount = 2 module tests completed 0% refund > 2 module tests completed

 

* Merchandise that is non-current, returned opened, without the original packaging/shrink-wrap, with pricing stamps, glue residue, bent covers, inserts, or stickers is not considered resalable.
